Francis Brett posted on social media: 'I'm very sad to announce the death of my Father, Charles Brett on 24th June, peacefully at home... He will be greatly missed'.
A fitting and moving Memorial Service for Charles Brett was held at HM Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace, on 8 November 2025.
